# Thermal, Thermal Monoculars
The Guide TK635L 3.0 is a KODIAK 3.0 thermal imaging monocular for hunting and outdoor exploration. This handheld thermal spotter combines a 35mm F0.9 lens with integrated laser ranging in a body measuring 182 × 67 × 79mm.
The 35mm F0.9 objective gives the TK635L 3.0 a 12.5° × 10.0° field of view, covering 21.9 × 17.6m at 100m. Its 2.8–22.4× magnification range supports scanning and closer examination within the same handheld device. Thermal detection extends up to 1800m.
ApexVision S1 brings together the ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 platform and Hyper-Light 3.0 algorithm. The 640 × 512 uncooled VOx detector has a 12µm pixel pitch and 15mK NETD. A 50Hz frame rate and shutterless 3.0 technology maintain continuous thermal viewing without routine shutter interruptions. Startup takes approximately three seconds.
The built-in laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1200m. Thermal detection range and laser ranging distance are separate specifications, so each function has its own stated limit.
View thermal imagery through a 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 AMOLED display with seven colour palettes. The eyepiece provides 30mm eye relief and dioptre adjustment from -6 to +6. Capture photos and video with audio to 64GB storage; connectivity includes 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C.
The symmetrical chassis and physical focus roller support left- or right-handed operation. The TK635L 3.0 weighs 524g with its battery fitted. One replaceable dedicated battery powers the device for approximately 5.5 hours; swapping to the second supplied battery gives up to 11 hours of combined use. The housing is IP67 rated, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.
