The NITE PRO D50R uses an 8000 x 6000, 48 MP digital sensor with a 1.2 micrometre pixel size and 60 Hz frame rate. Its 50 mm F1.25 objective lens uses multilayer coating to reduce glare and ghosting, while Nocpix Light+ processing reduces image noise, adjusts contrast and retains fine detail in low-light conditions.
A 1.03-inch 2560 x 2560 AMOLED display presents the image through a 60 mm eye relief and 6 mm exit pupil. The 3-36x magnification range starts at 3x, and the stated field of view is 8.8 x 7.4 degrees, equivalent to 15.4 x 13 m at 100 m. A centrally positioned focus wheel provides direct focus adjustment from the shooting position.
Target Sync allows the laser rangefinder optical axis to be adjusted to align with the reticle. Once calibrated, the ranging point and aiming point are aligned. The integrated laser rangefinder measures up to 1200 m, while ballistic calculation uses measured distance and configured ballistic data to provide correction information. Ballistic inputs must be entered and verified for the firearm and ammunition in use.
The full magnesium alloy housing weighs under 1000 g and is specified to withstand recoil energy up to 7000 J. IP67 protection and an operating temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees C support use across changing field conditions. The scope measures 402 x 93 x 81 mm and starts in approximately one second.
Power comes from a built-in 3850 mAh battery and a replaceable 18650 battery. The replaceable battery can be inserted in either direction, and stated operating time is at least 6 hours at 22 degrees C. The D50R includes 64 GB of storage, Wi-Fi, a microphone and photo and video recording. The Nocpix mobile app supports live preview, remote settings, transfer of photos and videos, zeroing and bullet-data management, and firmware updates.
