# Thermal, Thermal Monoculars
The Guide TE425S 25mm thermal monocular is a handheld thermal spotter for hunting, wildlife and nature observation. Its 25mm F0.9 objective provides a thermal detection range of up to 1300m, with manual focus for adjusting the observed scene.
The 11.0° × 8.2° field of view covers 19 × 14m at 100m. A 1.9–7.6× magnification range lets you change the displayed scale. At 320g and 157 × 51 × 47mm, the TE425S combines these functions in a compact handheld body with one-button control.
ApexVision S1 brings together the ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 platform and Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm. The uncooled VOx infrared detector resolves 400 × 300 pixels at a 12µm pitch, with 15mK NETD and a 50Hz frame rate.
Thermal imagery appears on a 0.32-inch AMOLED display at 800 × 600 resolution. Seven colour palettes provide different ways to view the scene. The eyepiece offers 25mm eye relief and dioptre adjustment from -5 to +5.
Capture photos and video with audio to 64GB internal storage. Wi-Fi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, alongside Bluetooth. The USB-C interface handles charging, an external power supply and USB 2.0 connectivity.
The built-in battery provides up to five hours of operation and supports 20W fast charging. A USB-C to USB-C cable is supplied, while a fast charging adapter is an optional accessory.
The housing is IP67 rated, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. A wrist strap and carry bag are supplied for handling and transport between observation sessions.
