Thermal Observation with Integrated Distance Measurement

The Guide TD635LS 35mm thermal monocular is part of the TD Gen3 LRF series. This handheld thermal spotter combines thermal observation and a built-in laser rangefinder for hunting, wildlife and nature observation. The rangefinder measures distances up to 1200m, while thermal detection extends up to 1800m.

The 35mm F1.0 objective provides a 12.5° × 9.4° field of view, covering 22 × 17m at 100m. A 2.03–16.24× magnification range supports changing the displayed scale during observation. Thermal detection and laser ranging are separate functions with different stated distances.

ApexVision Imaging and AMOLED Display

ApexVision S1 brings together the ApexCore S1 detector, Nexus 1.0 platform and Hyper-Light 2.0 algorithm. The uncooled VOx infrared sensor resolves 640 × 512 pixels at a 12µm pitch, with 15mK NETD and a 50Hz frame rate.

View thermal imagery on a 0.49-inch AMOLED display at 1440 × 1080 resolution. Seven colour palettes provide alternative ways to present the scene. The eyepiece offers 20mm eye relief and dioptre adjustment from -6 to +6.

Handling Battery Power and Outdoor Protection

The symmetrical body supports handling with either hand, and the physical focus roller allows one-handed manual focusing. The TD635LS weighs 374g and measures 171 × 54 × 74mm.

One replaceable 18650 battery powers the TD635LS for up to 10 hours. Two 18650 batteries and a battery charger are supplied for battery rotation between sessions. The housing is IP67 rated, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.

Recording Storage and Wireless Connectivity

Capture photos and video with audio to 64GB internal storage. Wi-Fi supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, alongside Bluetooth. USB-C supports an external power supply and USB 2.0 connectivity.
