Designed Exclusively for the DNT Scope
The QDF170 uses the two dedicated threaded mounting points on the DNT scope and attaches in one specified position. It is designed for the DNT scope and is not compatible with other night vision devices, magnifiers or scopes.
Flip-to-Side Action Camera and Standby Control
Moving the DNT scope through the QDF170 flip-to-side mechanism activates the device's supported flip functions. Depending on the configured DNT scope mode, the movement can trigger Action Camera recording or place the device into Standby.
1.7-inch Optic Centreline Height
The mount places the DNT scope optic centreline 1.7 inches above the Picatinny rail. This height is intended to support pairing with a compatible red dot sight setup. Confirm the height and alignment of every component before use; the stated height does not establish universal compatibility with every red dot or riser.
Quick-Detach Picatinny Rail Interface
The quick-detach lever closes against the Picatinny rail and is secured by a locking button. Rail tension can be adjusted with the single spacing screw using fingers or a flat-head screwdriver. Once set for the rail, the mechanism supports fast removal by releasing the locking button and opening the lever.
6063 Aluminium Cantilever Construction
The cantilever structure provides fore-and-aft positioning flexibility for eye relief. The mount is machined from one block of 6063 aluminium and uses a hard-anodised matte-black finish for surface protection against scratches and corrosion.

Installation Use and Care
- Confirm that the device is a DNT scope before installation. Do not fit the QDF170 to another device.
- Attach the mount to the DNT scope using its two threaded mounting points and the single permitted orientation. The manufacturer recommends 35 in-lb torque for the two attachment screws.
- To fit the assembly to a Picatinny rail, align the flexible side of the clamp with a rail slot, roll the assembly into position and close the lever until the locking button clicks.
- If the lever is too tight, the mount does not sit securely or a gap remains, hold the lever towards the side plate and adjust the spacing screw. Recheck the fit after releasing the lever.
- To remove the assembly, press the locking button and open the quick-detach lever. Support the DNT scope while releasing it from the rail.
- After installation or removal, verify mount security, optic alignment and zero before use. Follow the DNT scope, red dot sight and host-platform manufacturers' instructions.
- Keep the rail interface and locking mechanism clean. Do not use the mount if the lever, latch, screws or body are damaged.
