Autel EVO Max 4T V2 is a foldable enterprise thermal imaging drone built around the Fusion 4T V2 payload. It combines thermal, wide-angle and zoom imaging with laser ranging in one field platform for inspection, emergency response, search and rescue, firefighting support and other authorised professional operations.
The 640 x 512 thermal camera uses a 9.1 mm lens, supports 16x digital zoom and covers a stated temperature-measurement range from -20°C to 550°C.
The 48 MP zoom camera provides 10x optical zoom and up to 160x hybrid zoom, while the 48 MP wide camera supplies a broader 83.4-degree diagonal field of view. The laser rangefinder measures from 5 to 1200 m with stated accuracy of plus or minus 1 m plus D multiplied by 0.15%, where D is the distance to a vertical reflecting plane.
Binocular vision and millimetre-wave radar feed the Autel Autonomy Engine for environmental perception, autonomous path planning and obstacle awareness. Supported sensors also enable navigation where GNSS is unavailable, but sensing and automation remain pilot-assistance functions and do not replace operational planning, visual awareness or remote-pilot control.
The aircraft weighs 1665 g with the ABX41-D battery, Fusion 4T V2 gimbal and propellers. It has a stated maximum flight time of 42 minutes, a maximum horizontal speed of 23 m/s and maximum wind-speed resistance of 12 m/s under the manufacturer's test conditions. Actual performance varies with payload, battery condition, temperature, wind, flight profile and local restrictions.
The ABX41-D battery is hot-swappable when the function has first been enabled in the flight application. The aircraft provides 128 GB of internal storage, with 64 GB stated as available depending on firmware, and supports Class 10 UHS-3 or faster microSD cards up to 1 TB.
Maximum CE video-transmission distance is 8 km in an unobstructed, interference-free environment; this is a technical maximum and does not override UK visual-line-of-sight or airspace requirements.
Autel lists IP43 as a custom-service configuration, so confirm the protection rating of the supplied aircraft before planning work in dust or rain.

It combines a 640 x 512 thermal camera, a 48 MP zoom camera, a 48 MP wide camera and a laser rangefinder.
The stated measurement range is -20°C to 550°C. Measurement accuracy still depends on the selected settings, target surface and operating conditions.
The zoom camera provides 10x optical zoom and up to 160x maximum hybrid zoom.
Its stated measurement range is 5 to 1200 m, with accuracy of plus or minus 1 m plus D multiplied by 0.15%, where D is the distance to a vertical reflecting plane.
The stated maximum is 42 minutes under manufacturer test conditions. Actual time varies with payload, wind, temperature, battery condition, settings and flight profile.
Yes. Hot swapping is supported with the ABX41-D battery after the function has been enabled in the flight application. Follow the current Autel procedure.
No universal assumption should be made. Autel lists IP43 as a custom-service option, so confirm the rating of the supplied aircraft before use in dust or rain.
Check the class mark shown on the actual aircraft, obtain the required Flyer ID and Operator ID, confirm the permitted operating category and separation distances, review local airspace restrictions and obtain any Operational Authorisation required for the planned mission.
